I was amazed at the size of the giraffe when I opened it but since I LOVE giraffes this was not an issue. The velcro straps for the noise pack and the crib strap seems pretty sturdy, i'm sure a child couldn't rip this off the crib. The little noise pack works very well, the batteries that came with mine were dead, but they were also cheap. I had some issues getting the back off to replace the batteries, it seemed like the door was stuck and one of the screws was stripped. I haven't had any issues with this item, although I wish the timer was longer than 45 minutes. you can get them cheapest on Amazon through this link.
